My Mes/War build
I have been in AB quite a bit since last posting a build, and here is my current one:
For casters, (mainly fire elmentalists):
[skill]Frustration[/skill]
[skill]Power Spike[/skill]
[skill]Power Return[/skill]
With 2 fast recharging interrupts, this should shut down most of a fire ele. spells, keep Frustration up and they will often just stop casting. Then pile on some hexes.
For every enemy:
[skill]Conjure Phantasm[/skill]
[skill]Clumsiness[/skill] - (now with 4 sec. recharge, making it more useful)
[skill]Images of Remorse[/skill] - for cheap spamming on attackers
For defense:
[skill]Signet of Midnight[/skill] - for me, this is the only choice for elite slot...sustainable blind against mellee attackers for free. Warriors and Dervishes attacking my soft little mesmer either die quickly or give up and run away.
[skill]Healing Signet[/skill] - by far the best self-heal in the game, 100 h at 8 tactics. If fighting a melle attacker with blind on him, the -40 armor doesn't hurt you. After dying from hex or condition caused health degeneration several times (even with no enemies around) I came to realize that a good self-heal is essential to staying alive in AB.
